Cleaning your mattress regularly may help reduce allergens and extend the life of your mattress. First, make sure that you clean spills as soon as they happen to help prevent mold growth. Also, make sure you wash your bedding at least once a week, which will help minimize the amount of oil, sweat, and dirt that will get into your mattress. Your mattress itself should be cleaned no less than twice a year, or once every season. Thankfully, it’s relatively simple to clean your mattress and it can be done using household cleaning products including your vacuum and baking soda. The products you’re able to use will also depend on the type of mattress and materials covering your mattress.
Additionally, you can keep your mattress clean with one of my mattress protectors. They help keep sweat, oils, spills, and dirt away from your mattress!
